About

APPEARANCE/FIRST GLANCE
Zoha has mismatched pink eyes after the Battle of Carteneau left her right eye permanently pale, while her left remained dark pink. She is also much shorter than other female Miqo'te her age.FAMILY/PAST
Originally from Limsa Lominsa, Zoha grew up around pirate culture, which heavily influenced her personality and vocabulary. During the Garlean occupation of Ala Mhigo, she and her younger brother, Azure, witnessed their parents’ murder while hiding from a patrol. The trauma left them deeply protective of one another, and after Carteneau, both became adventurers who remain extremely close and supportive.FAVORITES/HOBBIES
Zoha loves strawberry cake, pastel pink, music, drawing, baking, singing, and dancing. While she prefers practical clothing for adventuring, she also enjoys dressing up for special occasions. Though introverted, she values spending time with friends just as much as quiet evenings with cocoa and a book.STRENGTHS/WEAKNESSES
Zoha is introverted around strangers but lively and affectionate with people she trusts. Her emotions are difficult to hide due to her expressive ears and tail, and she often shows affection through head bumps. She is fiercely loyal, determined, perfectionistic, and emotionally driven, but struggles with control, delegation, and asking for help. Her distractibility, sharp tongue, and survivor’s guilt can sometimes cause problems, though her resilience and optimism often inspire the people around her.

Lore
This is the RP story of Zoha and Akira. It's currently ongoing and takes place after Dawntrail, but before Evercold.
https://archiveofourown.org/works/63838312/chapters/163704715Below is her RP history, of all events leading up to her story with Akira:R'zoha Antha was born in 1550, during the Twenty-Third Sun of the Sixth Astral Era, in Limsa Lominsa.
Her father, R'antha Nuhn, was a Seeker of the Sun from Gyr Abania. Her mother, Azure Kaleh, was a Keeper of the Moon from a small tribe on the outskirts of the Black Shroud. The two met while Antha was conducting patrols near the borderlands between their territories. Despite coming from vastly different cultures and facing disapproval from both tribes, they fell deeply in love and ultimately chose one another over tradition.
Leaving their homes behind, they settled in Limsa Lominsa and established a modest life as merchants. R’zoha, or Zoha, was born shortly after their arrival, followed several years later by her younger brother, R'azure, or Azure. Each had been named according to the traditions of their respective parents.
By all accounts, the family was a happy one.
When Zoha was seven summers old and Azure was four, their parents decided to return east to show their children the lands they had once called home. What was intended to be a simple journey became a nightmare. The Garlean invasion of Ala Mhigo had begun, and the region was rapidly descending into chaos.
As the family attempted to flee the growing conflict, they found themselves trapped amid a flood of refugees and advancing Imperial patrols. Realizing escape was impossible, Zoha's parents concealed their children among a cluster of supply crates and ordered them to remain silent, no matter what happened.
Then they stepped back into the turmoil.
What followed would haunt Zoha for the rest of her life.
From their hiding place, she and Azure watched helplessly as their parents were cornered by Imperial soldiers. Her father placed himself between her mother and the patrol, refusing to yield even when outnumbered. Together they bought their children precious moments with the only thing they had left to give.
Time.
Neither survived.
Zoha would later struggle to recall every detail of that day. Some memories had blurred with age. Others remained painfully clear. The shouting. The fear. The sound of her brother crying beside her. The terrible realization that no one was coming back.
For a long time, she questioned why she and Azure had lived when their parents had not.
But grief was a luxury survival could not afford.
When the soldiers finally moved on, Zoha emerged from hiding and took her brother's hand. She did not know where they would go. She did not know how they would survive. She only knew that Azure was frightened and alone.
And so, at seven years old, she made a choice.
If no one else was coming to protect her brother, she would.
The decision would shape the rest of her life.
In the days that followed, Zoha guided Azure through refugee camps, supply wagons, and unfamiliar roads, eventually securing passage aboard a caravan bound for Ul'dah. She lied when she needed to. Stole when she had to. Slept lightly and watched constantly. Every decision centered around a single goal.
Keep Azure safe.
The journey eventually ended at Adventurer’s Guild, inside the Quicksand, but the role she had assumed never truly disappeared.
The two children were discovered hiding within the tavern by its staff. Refusing to speak of their past and fiercely protective of one another, they quickly became familiar faces among the patrons. Zoha in particular earned a reputation for her stubborn determination and willingness to stand between her brother and anything she perceived as a threat.
Though neither child had formal training, both displayed an unusual aptitude for aether and spellcraft. Their natural talent eventually attracted the attention of a visiting Scholar from Limsa Lominsa, who arranged to become their guardian and oversee their education.
The siblings were brought back to Limsa Lominsa and enrolled with the Arcanists' Guild.
While Azure gravitated toward scholarly pursuits and eventually followed the path of the Scholar, Zoha found herself drawn elsewhere. The idea of fighting alongside powerful allies fascinated her. Rather than standing alone against the dangers of the world, she wanted companions at her side.
That decision led her toward the art of Summoning.
Early in her studies, Zoha successfully summoned a carbuncle whom she named Evi. What began as a training exercise quickly became something far more meaningful. Evi remained at her side through years of study, adventure, and hardship, becoming both trusted companion and closest confidant.
As the siblings matured, they formally registered as adventurers. Their childhood fascination with the stories told around the Quicksand's tables had become reality.
By the age of twenty, both had earned enough skill and recognition to answer the call to arms at the Battle of Carteneau.
There, near the end of the conflict, the release of Bahamut unleashed a catastrophic surge of aether across the battlefield. In an instinctive attempt to protect her brother, Zoha shielded Azure from the blast. Though both survived, the event permanently altered her right eye. Once identical to her left, it faded to a much lighter shade of pink after absorbing a portion of the aetheric energy.
The injury left lasting effects.
Zoha developed an unusual sensitivity to light, often suffering headaches when exposed to intense brightness. At the same time, the altered eye granted heightened vision in darkness and an uncanny ability to detect concentrations of magic that others might overlook.
In the years that followed, Zoha continued building a reputation throughout Eorzea as a dependable and compassionate adventurer. While many sought fame, fortune, or glory, she became known for something far simpler.
She helped.
Whether escorting merchants, protecting settlements, aiding guilds, or assisting complete strangers, Zoha rarely turned away someone in need. Her willingness to lend a hand, combined with her considerable skill as a Summoner, earned her the trust of countless people across the realm.
Despite her growing reputation, she remained deeply devoted to her brother. Though their careers often carried them to different corners of Eorzea, the two remained exceptionally close. Azure eventually adopted the surname Nuhn to honor the father he barely remembered, while Zoha retained the name she had carried since birth: R'zoha Antha.
Now twenty-nine years old, Zoha is recognized throughout Eorzea as a talented Summoner, accomplished adventurer, and trusted friend to many. Though she has witnessed loss, war, and hardship from a young age, she has never allowed those experiences to harden her heart.
Where others see reasons to become cynical, Zoha chooses compassion.
Years after everything she’d been through, Zoha would still carry the same instinct that had first emerged among those broken crates.
Protect the people she loved.
Help those who could not help themselves.
Where others might have surrendered to bitterness long ago, she continues moving forward with hope.
And to those whose lives she has touched, she is a reminder that kindness remains one of the greatest strengths a person can possess.
